How I use AI in design, UX, and coding
As a designer, writer, and coder, I don't treat AI as optional, that's just choosing to spend more time than you need to. A basic five-page site built the traditional way, research, wireframes, design rounds, coding, then SEO and page speed bolted on at the end, typically takes three to six months to go live.
AI changes that math at every stage. Research and architecture that used to take weeks now take minutes. Once you understand design systems and have a spec with an accessible, on-brand palette, a first draft in thirty minutes to an hour is realistic, though the point of view I bring to the iteration is still what makes it mine. From there, vibe coding tools generate production-ready code wired to a cloud database, often without me writing a line by hand, with SEO, accessibility, and page speed built in from the start. I take the same approach with mobile apps.
None of this replaces hands-on design and coding experience, it turns it into an accelerant: I can carry an idea from spec to live product without waiting on anyone else to unblock me. For a founder, that was never about cutting corners, it's about giving time back, mine and my clients'.

A client site, built end to end with AI
Nijilvasukutty.co.uk is a personal branding site for a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon, researched, planned, architected, designed, and coded through an AI-assisted workflow from first brief to shipped site, Vibe Designing and Vibe Coding applied to real client work, not just this site.
Tools and approach: a Claude Project turned the brief into a structured design specification, Google Stitch iterated the visual layout from that spec, and the final site was built in Next.js via an Antigravity-connected Claude Code agent, with SEO, performance, and accessibility covered as part of the build, not an afterthought.

This website was planned in a Claude Project, then built through three stages: Vibe Architecting (the content and site-structure plan), Vibe Designing (a written visual system spec covering typography, color, grid, and motion), and Vibe Coding (the Next.js and Tailwind build itself). Unlike Nijilvasukutty.co.uk, which went spec → Google Stitch mockup → rebuild in code, this one skipped the mockup-translation step entirely: spec straight into real, rendered code.
